The
Mount Prospect Chamber of Commerce would like to thank more than 70
Chamber members who attended the Business After Hours and Celebrity
Cook Out last Monday. We are excited to announce next month’s Business
After Hours, “East Meets West,” on August 20 at Bristol Court Banquets.
Kiyota
“K” Takeuchi of Kiyota International will co-sponsor the cultural
event, complete with a gourmet meal prepared with an Oriental flair.
About 20 total businesses – American and Japanese – are expected to
exhibit.
“Mount Prospect has been good to me,” Takeuchi said. “This is a stimulating networking opportunity businesswise and personally.”
Co-Partners of Bristol Court Banquets,
Gary DiTomassi
and David Weiner, hope the hospitable venue helps guests build relationships. DiTomassi hopes for more than 100 in attendance.
Richard
Sassan, CPA of B & E Accounting and a four-year member of the Mount
Prospect Chamber of Commerce, plans to attend the networking event and
will provide gift certificates to area restaurants in a raffle. He has
been to almost all of the Chamber’s networking events and encourages
members to meet other businesses.
“It’s
a great way to build relationships and introduce them to other
businesses in the Chamber,” he says. “It helps them get acclimated and
makes them feel welcome.”
Last
week, members enjoyed hot dogs and pita and hummus platters from Stay
Fit Food Market. Prizes were provided by Stay Fit Physical Fitness
& Core Wellness, Picket Fence Realty and Richard Sassan, CPA of B
& E Accounting.
Paul Seils
of Busse’s Flowers and Gifts donated a rose bouquet, and new member
Edible Arrangements donated a fruit display at the cook out. The event
was co-sponsored by the Mount Prospect Chamber and Picket Fence Realty
and held in the back parking lot of the Chamber office on Main Street
in downtown Mount Prospect. Please look for additional information on
next month’s Business After Hours in upcoming newsletters.
The
Mount Prospect Chamber of Commerce seeks to promote, support and enrich
the local business community through the delivery of quality services,
