The
Mount Prospect Chamber of Commerce allows businesses to take advantage
of its downtown storefront window with an opportunity to rent it for
display purposes. This location is passed by 22,000 vehicles and 5,000
METRA train riders daily and can be rented for the month for just $100.
As of July, the Chamber may still accommodate members who wish to rent
in October or November.
Mark
Paradise, owner of Sunshine Daydream Hippie General Store at 2027 E.
Euclid Avenue, reported an increase in sales during the month of
December shortly after he rented the window in 2008.
Members
are encouraged to sign up to sponsor windows a few months in advance.
Stay Fit Physical Fitness & Core Wellness has rented the window for
July. Byte Me Computer will take over in August. Other businesses that
have taken advantage of this opportunity this year include the Mt.
Prospect Park District, B & E Accounting Service, Inc., Capannari
Ice Cream, Mount Prospect Child Care, U Keep Us in Stitches, Inc. and
State Farm Insurance Agent Tim Ratigan.
The
Mount Prospect Chamber of Commerce seeks to promote, support and enrich
the local business community through the delivery of quality services,
effective communication and through the establishment of partnerships
with individuals, community organizations, fellow chamber members and
