The Small Business tips today will cover some tricks of the
Twitter trade in communication.
- To reply
to someone publicly, type “ @username message “ like this and it will
alert them and link to their profile.
- To
send a direct message to someone (this is private) type “ d username
message “ with those exact spaces.
- If you
want to talk on a specific topic or create one of your own use a hash tag
by adding # to the front of a word.
- Always
acknowledge every reply or direct message. Let your followers know you
hear them.
