of Mouth Marketing. Great ways to reach a growing audience that isn't just
local.
- Start
with a website, a strong backbone, keyword saturation and a high ranking
in search engines.
- Offer
an email newsletter. Provide a consistent value that offers expertise and
discounts.
- Place
internet ads: text or graphic: static or dynamic. Try placing with Google
or specific niche sites.
- Explore
social networks and networking specific for businesses. It's a marketing /
networking tool, not just sell sell sell.

give extra strength and roll them out so that they all work together.

Kim,
I saw you wrote "Worth" of mouth in the title. Was that a typo or clever pun? If it's a typo I might actually use it. =)
Great read.
I think pace is an extremely important factor to consider.
In today's world of free services and rapid networking... "time" has truly replaced "money" as the number one commodity.
You could spend 5 days courting a prospect on a social media site and land a sale. Sure you probably had some fun and generated revenue but, depending on your commission, spending that kind of time may actually amount to a huge loss.
efficiency, efficiency, efficiency
Beth,
When are you going to be a guest on our blog?
=)

Chris,
Actually, I was playing with it both ways. I meant to conform to one, but I kinda like it this way! I'm glad you do too. To spend 5 days courting a company on a social media site seems excessive. I practice the 3 Ps: Prep, Personalize and Present. THAT is efficiency.
And now I wonder who this "Beth" is that you're talking to?
