The Small Business tips today will be about business to business sales.

  1. When selling business to business, make yourself a part of the team. Demonstrate your desire to truly increase their bottom line.
  2. Don't monopolize the talk time, give your customers opportunity to explain what they need so you can determine how to help.
  3. Learn as much as you can about the business you're selling to. You may think of a new idea they'd not had before.
  4. Follow up. Make return visits. Volunteer maintenance and training if there's confusion. Educate!

Daily Overview: When selling to another business be on their team, let them lead and learn as much as you can. Follow-up later.

I post small business tips on my Twitter account each day, Monday through Friday. This is a reposting of those tips.
