The Small Business tips today will be about your company's website and the important information to have on it.

  1. First thing first: get a website! Preferably your own domain name. Having a website is cheap!
  2. Place your most important information front & center. You want that to be seen first, without scrolling or clicking.
  3. Don't bury your information within your site. Make it all accessible with just a couple of clicks.
  4. List your contact information. Be obvious and consistent: footer and "contact" link in your navigation to start.

Daily Overview: Simple is better so keep it that way. Have a website and be straight forward with your info. Your internet presence depends on that.

I post small business tips on my Twitter account each day, Monday through Friday. This is a reposting of those tips.
