Most businesses realize little benefits from the Internet, because the search engines (Google, Yahoo, etc.) list smaller or more local businesses far down in their “search” categories.  As a result, people looking for such businesses can’t find them or get tired or looking through hundreds or thousands of listings.  Well-known companies can appear on the first pages of a search category as “Organic” listings.  Search engines also offer, for a price, “Sponsored” listings.

Expensive Options
Search engine “Optimization” has been used to improve an Organic ranking, but this can be very expensive and not always effective.  “Pay-per-Click” sponsored listings can also be very expensive because of having to “bid” for a high ranking.  Even having a monthly budget for this can show minimal results, because other businesses can be bidding for a higher ranking.

A New Option for Businesses
Within the past year, Beyond Commerce, Inc. has introduced a new option for businesses wanting to maximize their Internet rankings, named LocalAdLink.  It has negotiated with some 100 “third party” sites – search engines, like Google, Yahoo, Ask, etc. – to buy Sponsored listings, which are in-turn sold for a low, flat fee per month.  Furthermore, the listings are localized for zip codes, “geo-targeting” the highest potential customers of a business.  

Other Features and Benefits
A LocalAdLink listing connects to a billboard page which includes info on the business and its products/services, a map showing the business location, coupons and even a video, along with a link to the company’s website.  For a fraction of the cost of other options businesses can realize a localized and higher ranking in their search category.
