Businesses are invited to become a part of the Mount Prospect Chamber of Commerce’s 10th Annual Block Party on Saturday, July 25 from 4 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. to promote their products and services to thousands of attendees at its mid-summer downtown community event. The “Streets of Mount Prospect” business tents will remain open from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m., and most children’s activities will be available from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m.

Members of the Chamber may purchase a table with two chairs at The Block Party Business Expo for $150 and additional tables for $15 each. The deadline for registration is Tuesday, July 12 at noon. Tables must be staffed at all times and may not sell any food or other products. Businesses must identify any food giveaways in packaging sealed according to Health Department regulations or prize drawing.

Additional event sponsorships are available. Businesses earn the title of Entertainment Sponsors for $3,000 or more and will receive a banner on the main stage, a 60-second commercial announcement prior to the band performance, signs at entrances and exits and preferred location in the food tent. They may also receive authorization to serve a specialty alcoholic drink with proper state and city licenses.

Businesses that donate $1,000 or more will become Attraction Sponsors and receive a banner and announcement from the main stage. The following businesses have reached this level of sponsorship: Innate Concepts Chiropractic, Reveal Design+Build, Northwest Community Hospital and Schumacher Electric. These businesses will also appear on signs to attractions such as the slide, train, and race cars. Please feel free to contact the chamber at (847) 398-6616 for partial sponsorships.

Businesses that donate from $250 to $500 will become an Activity Sponsor and receive a banner and announcement from the main stage. These businesses will also appear on signs to booths with face painting, the clown and the merry-go-round.
